Yay! I got on the scale this morning.  It's  been about a week like 5 days since I weighed last. I am down to 238. I am so excited. The last time I weighed under 240 was when Shiloh was about 2. That's  been a while (seven and a half years). This was a huge goal for me. HUGE. Since surgery I've lost 27 pounds. In three weeks I've lost 27 pounds. Since Nov. 1 I've lost 47 pounds. These are big exciting numbers.... but it won't  always be this way.  Three things: 1. I mess up sometimes.... if I stay up late my mind wants food. I am pretty low carb so this is not a complete disaster but I feel guilt for going off plan. Even with just a few ounces of yogurt or a few bites of a meatball (ah...meatballs). 2.  I am working hard. I try hard to stay on plan...I don't  eat sweets anymore, I don't  eat breads, I don't eat alot of processed stuff. I stay on top of my protein. I try to get my water in. I go to the gym... Man I hope I stick with that. I love the gym the way I used to love donuts. I never would have thought I would say that! 3. Enjoy the ups and give yourself grace in the downs. I am working  on this. Some days  the scale is not my friend... I am trying hard to not obsess (which is tough to break that nature). Happy New Year.... enjoy your journey!
